Week 2 of 2009 fall league play continued to showcase some of the Minnesota's top talent. Summer teammates were highlighted on opposite teams in one of the weekend's best games. A single handed comeback against a top defensive team, top players with impressive stats and a 2014 star on display were all highlights of the weekend.
Other results from Saturday included Champlin Park remaining undefeated in the league. The Rebels defeated Minnehaha 67-46 after leading by 2 at the half. Jasper Duberry with 17 points for the Rebels. Champlin Park also defeated Minnesota Select 59-48. Minnehaha split their games on the day with a 65-54 victory over Maple Grove. Orono defeated St. Anthony 51-50 in an overtime nail biter. St. Anthony 1 of 6 from the foul line at the end of regulation to keep the Spartans in the game. St. Anthony defeated Blake 72-50 in their other game.
