The Rebels (15-4 / 10-1) continue conference play on Friday February 12th as they travel to Blaine to take on the Bengals (4-14 / 2-9).
The Rebels defeated the Bengals at home 61(15 points from Davis) -39 (16 points from Zach Romashko) back on January 14th as four Rebel starters reached double digits to combine for 46 points, nine Rebels scored.
The Bengals are currently on a two game losing streak and have one victory in their last nine games. The Bengals are led by junior post sensation Zach Romashko who is averaging a huge 18 points a game. Senior guard Jesse Briggity is their other double digit scorer at 10 points a game. Keep an eye on the very athletic sophomore wing Duke Anywanu as well.
Conference co-leader Osseo is at home against Centennial.
The Rebels who are averaging a conference leading 71 points a game were moved up to the #2 spot in the Class 4A State Rankings today by the Minnesota Basketball News. The Rebels who have four starters averaging double digits are on an eight game winning streak and have won 14 of their last 16 games.
