The Cougars (11-7, 8-2 Northwest Suburban) moved to within a game of first-place Osseo in the conference race with a strong second-half rally. Champlin Park, tied for first place entering the game, led 44-30 at halftime but could not handle Centennial's second-half pressure. Tony Gerding sparked the comeback for Centennial, scoring all 10 of his points in the second half.
