Up Next Maple Grove

The Rebels (12-6) take on Maple Grove (12-6) Tuesday night on their home court at 7pm. The Rebels defeated the Crimson 77-55 in their prior meeting at Maple Grove back in January with a number of local D2/3 college coaches in attendance.

This ought to be an interesting game since the Rebels where booed during this game from warm ups until midway thru the second half when the Crimson fans finally gave way to a blow out. More interesting will be Duberry's performance and reaction since he was booed every time he touched the ball in the first half. Looking back, what made that game more interesting was the athletic director sitting with the fans during this display.

The Crimson who are on a 2 game winning streak bring a 12-6 record into the contest and are led by senior post player Josh Pedretti who intentionally fouled out of the first contest with a couple of minutes left. Maple Grove is a very physical team who fouls hard and a lot. The Rebels had their best 3 point shooting performance (65%) of the year knocking down 11 of 17 threes in their earlier contest with Theisen going 7 for 7 from behind the arch.
